How do we do it??? how do we do it?....

With no loss of client comfort or production and all at no cost to you.

REDUCE RUN TIMES OF COMPRESSORS

Freezers, and cool rooms, all have a “set point”, that is the temperature they are required to operate at and the compressor to which they are attached “cycles” to achieve that result.

By incorporating a microprocessor driven electronic thermostat into the “cycle” we are able to program the unit to “cycle” more efficiently, we reduce the operating parameters, thus the compressor run time is reduced by 25% and efficiency is increased by not allowing either over run or long run compressor time.

MOVE NON ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT TO “OFF   PEAK TIMES”AND PROGRAM NON ESSENTIAL LIGHTING

Hot water for example does not have to be heated during “peak cost times” when it can be programmed to be heated at “off peak times”.  With lighting, we are able to sensor non essential areas for lighting so we program them to only be active when required.

REDUCE RUNNING COSTS OF FLUORESCENT TUBES, METAL HALYDES, MERCURY VAPOR, HIGH PRESSURE SODIUMS AND ALL HID LIGHTING

Our microprocessor controlled unit which; we locate at the switchboard, allows all types of lighting under its control to light (or strike) and then slowly withdraws voltage from them utilising an auto transformer which responds to current sensing.

Our unit is also programmed to sense additional load should more lighting be switched on or off and returns to normal voltage then continually repeats the monitoring procedure. In reducing the running cost of the fluorescent tubes the unit also reduces the heat out, thus giving the tube extended life and assists reduce air conditioning costs.

IMPROVE POWER FACTOR

Power factor is similar to water running through a hose if there are no leaks the same pressure is constant, however if there are leaks you either need more pressure or a bigger hose to maintain the same pressure. If a clients power factor is low it means the client is consuming far more electricity to run his business than is required, this adversely effects the maximum demand, overloads the switchboard, creates enormous overheating, voltage drops, a higher incidence of equipment failure. The effect is damaging, and adds additional costs to their existing energy cost. By fitting power factor improvement technology the power factor is contained at +99%

REDUCE MAXIMUM DEMAND

Maximum demand is calculated and charged by the energy provider as the total kws required by a client to commence operation, or as a start up cost. For example should our audit of your business reveal 10, 15 kw motors, your start up demand kws and therefore costs would be the total per kw for 150kws (10x15). This cost is charged normally, as the highest maximum demand over a minimum period of any one half hour in the billing cycle. If the client is billed every 30 days the highest registered half hour in that 30 days would be the cost (per kw) the energy provider would charge for the whole month. By alternating the start times of the motors so only 5 are running at any one time, without affecting the clients work requirements, we are able to reduce the demand and therefore the costs by 75kw.

IMPROVE COMPRESSOR EFFICIENCY

Compressors, whether driving air conditioning or refrigeration systems, will over time lose efficiency and require more energy to achieve the desired result due to the migration of oil within the system. This oil required to lubricate moving parts escapes the compressor and accumulates on the walls of the evaporator and condensing coils, thus reducing the heat transfer rate.

Our additive injected into the system breaks down that accumulation and forms a boundary layer of protection and allows the compressor greater heat transfer, more cooling in less time and less load at start up times.
